Having same issues, were you able to solve this and if so would you mind letting me know how?
Thanks
Lara
Hi I had to get another employee to process it remotely as my internet connection couldnt process it without timing out. On the phone to MYOB for 2 hours, they ran scripts - nothing worked. Basically they said that it looks like the timeout response was 3 minutes and paying 100 employees was too much for that timeframe - they asked me to split the pay (which I shouldnt have to) but that didnt work either. They wanted to talk me through how to change a backend setting which I wasnt comfortable doing so I asked for a call back from their technical team (which they offered as a solution). That was Thursday 6 July - still no call back. So I am not sure I will be able to process it next week either. Long story short - they need to extend the "timeout" error from 3 minutes to longer. I advised this has never been an issue paying 100+ staff before now so I think it might be a setting they have changed.....just find it odd it happened straight after my EOFY finalisation and considering the headaches caused from last financial year I am losing confidence with the efficiency of MYOB for payroll processing.

Thanks Mel, I am trying to process 56 staff, they had given me that same reasoning with the time out thing months ago on desktop.... so I moved to doing it online which had been wroking fine. I am in agreement with you they have changed settings on MYOB side as I have tried from home and today from office numerous times with no luck. Seriously annoying, I will be looking into other payroll solutions asap..............
