I have the same question as gavin12345 - please refer to his question.
Hope MYOB can respect customers' needs and give us options to choose whether to keep company file online or just save and use it locally. If we are forced to keep our company files online,that's horrible.
If there is any method to operate and save STP2 company files locally, could you please let us know.

Due to changes in ATO security requirements which have impacted integrating with the ATO's online services for STP Phase 2, company files do need to be online to report Phase 2.
ok, so if i have uploaded my compnay file online and updated to phase 2, how do I update my local copy (for other users on network) so they see a current copy of the datafile?
I would like to continue to use the local network copy to process payroll (more user friendly, plus can do a single pay not everyone), and then I can restore the local file to the online file after payroll completed.
Please help with a solution.

it is not good option for MYOB user, only choice use file online. no excuss for ATO requirment.
