Self-Managed Super Fund - Who has access to save new profile info?

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have a new employee who has a self-managed super fund.

I need to enter and save the super fund info into MYOB.

The first steps is as below:

The second step is as below:

I am the one who processes payroll and submits payroll info to ATO. I entered my email address and password as if I am submitting the payroll info through STP.

However, MYOB pop-outs below screen after I entered my login details:

After that, all the super details lost.

Can anyone tell me who is authorised to do this? My CFO? I know, everytime when we pay super, we need to send a code to her mobile and super payment can only be processed after she provide the code.

I guess it would be my CFO who is authorised. But just would like to get confirmation from gurus.

By the way, for staff who use very common super fund(e.g. Australian Super, etc.) , I can easily save their super details. Why for self-managed super, it becomes so hard?

Can anybody help?

Really appreciate your help!

  • Hey Irene99,

Thanks so much for your patience.

When working with our Pay Super function, only a Pay Super Authoriser can make changes or update details.

I have had a look at your details from my end and can see that in your case, the person with the email address mxxxxlle.cxxn@rfxxxxxrty.com.au is the Pay Super Authoriser.

To answer your second question, it may be more complicated due to the tick box "Pay Directly from AccountRight". If you were to process super transactions manually (outside of AccountRight) then I would suggest that this would allow you to do so. However, I would recommend keeping this box ticked and using the Pay Super feature.

I hope this has cleared things up for you.

If you have any more questions, feel free to post again.

The problem solved. I would love to Accept As Solution. However, I failed to find the button.

Could you please let me know where is the button?

      Dear Maxine,

Thanks a lot for your help!

From the email address you mentioned in your reply, I can see that it is our cashier's email address.

Can I ask whether my CFO is the Pay Super Authoriser or not? Her email address is mxxxo.zxu@rfxxxxxrty.com.au.

      Best regards,

      Irene
