Hello @Sue_finance,

 

 

Uninstalling the AccountRight software won't affect your online or local files, but it is always advised to have up to date backups of your files, especially your local files just in case.

 

Basically, uninstalling AccountRight will not delete your or compromise your files at all because the company files are independent of the software and are stored in a separate location on your computer.

I am running 2017.1.19.8022 but still getting this warning that it will stop working unless I upgrade.

Thanks Melissa.

 

It went away once I clicked "Got it.  Don't show me again".  

 

I guess that makes sense.  I had just expected the message to disappear once the software was upgraded.

 

Anyway, no problem now.

It's great to hear that it does actually go away when clicking on "Got it.  Don't show me again". So thanks for confirming that.

 

Your expectations are correct, it should disappear when the software is updated. We are looking into why this is occurring and how to fix it going forward.

Hi Melissa

I deleted the program and reinstalled it from the my.myob site. It still shows as version 2017.1 even though the download was 2017.1.1(1) exe. I still get the message about needing to upgrade. I only have one Account Right icon on the screen to select from to open files and that is 2017.1

Hey @Sue_finance,

 

 

The icon will still say 2017.1, can you please check the version number by going into a company file and then going to 'Help -> About MYOB AccountRight'?

 

If that is still not showing 2017.1.1 as the version next to 'Product:' please let me know. If it is showing as 2017.1.1 you should then be able to load the latest tax tables by going to 'Setup -> Load Payroll Tax Tables'.

Hello

My accountright has updated to 2017.1 and I am still getting this message.. not sure what to do, can you help please.
I have looked everywhere for any further updates however there appears to be none.
