Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a great resource.

 

As long as your product under Help >> About AccountRight reads that you are using AccountRight 2017.1.1 then you have indeed upgraded to the latest version and will not be affected by the decommissioning of AccountRight 2016.3.

 

To stop the prompt coming up advising you of the decommissioning, you can tick the box in the bottom left hand corner of the message that says “Got it, don’t show me again”. Once you have ticked this please click the Close button in the bottom right hand corner of that message. This will stop that prompt coming up so you can continue using your file.

I get the reminder every time i open my file although i believe i a up to date with a file that  says it is -

accountright PLus AU 2017.1.1

Build- 2017.7.19.8022

 

do i need to do something else to update/comply??

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of useful information.

 

As your product is showing as AccountRight 2017.1.1, your file has indeed upgraded to the latest release and as a result you won’t be impacted by the decommissioning of AccountRight 2016.3.

 

To stop that reminder coming up, you can tick the option in the bottom left hand corner labelled “Got it, don’t show me again” and then close the window using the close button in the bottom right hand corner. This will stop that reminder from coming up again.

Hi....I keep getting a dialogue box telling me to update my version of MYOB, however there is no update button showing for me to select....how do I update it without that?

You can access the latest updates through my.MYOB. Simply log in using your email address and password then you can go to My Products >> Downloads and access any and all download links that you are entitled to, included the latest release of AccountRight 2017.1.1

Good Morning

 

I have tried several times to update my online system and it always gets 2-3 bars into the download and then an error message occurs. Please help as shut down is soon.

Are you able to clarify the error message that you are receiving when trying to download AccountRight? Additionally when you are trying to do the update are you saving the update file first or trying to run it directly off my.MYOB?

Hi, i'm a bit of a novice at all this but i updated my accountright software last night - i was asked to do it again this morning (?) when i tried to open & i have now opened in what appears to be the 2017 version (i also followed the suggestion of looking in the help menu at "about accountright" which says 2017.1) BUT i am still getting the msg saying "you are using the 2016 version & if you don't update you won't be able to access your files online after 24th August 2017"... is this normal?

I am trying to upgrade my client's AccountRight 2016.3 online file but am not sure how to now that I can no longer access the file to open it. Can you please advise?
