Hi @Jan2017,

Please have a look at diagnostics file next time the program crashes and paste the contents in to your reply.

To be able to look at the diagnostics file which contains a log of what happens in the software.

The location of the file is:

  • C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\MYOB\AccountRight\20XX.X\Diagnostics

If you are not able to see the AppData folder:

  • Press the Windows Key + R at the same time.
  • Once the run window appears then type in %localappdata%
  • Click Ok

The run window looks like this:

Untitled.png

The file will be called Huxley.Application and the file type is TXT.

Kind regards,

Hi JakeN,

There was no data in the diagnostics folder.

Cheers Jan

Hi @Jan2017

Without getting a copy of the error log* that is generated it can be hard to tell exactly what has occurred with that company file. However, I would recommend taking a look at my post on System.NullReferenceException which may be a similar situation to yourself.

*You can see the full contents of the error log by selecting View Error Log in the bottom left of that "Something has gone wrong" message.

Kind Regards,
Steven
