Bank accounts as Liabilities

I want my bank overdraft account and my bank loan account to show as Liabilities so my Balance Sheet shows the correct classifications. How should I set these up in Account Right? It seems that I can only set up a bank account as a Current Asset?

Re: Bank accounts as Liabilities

Hi @RK50

To use a Liability account as a bank account, set it to Credit Card. The account will then appear on the relevant drop down lists such as Spend Money etc.

Gavin

Re: Bank accounts as Liabilities

Thanks Gavin,

Dpesn't seem like an elegant solution to me but if that's the only way to do it I'll go with that.
