We have had reports from some of our clients about receiving bounce emails that appear to be coming from MYOB.
Following these reports our team have been successful in stopping further emails from being sent.

Following an update to our email service, MYOB became aware of a bounce-back issue that affected a small number of our customers from 5pm on Tuesday until just after 9am AEST on Wednesday. Our technicians have fixed the fault and no further incidents have occurred.
Having resolved the problem, we are now working through an incident review process which includes root cause analysis and contacting impacted customers to explain the situation and sincerely apologise for the mistake.
Our team is investigating exactly what caused the error, which meant that some of our customers received one or more bounce-back notifications from emails sent by other customers.
The bounce-back emails stated that the initial email was unable to be delivered and contained the original email’s header. It is important to understand these were email bounce-backs and no attachments were included in the responses.
Again, we are extremely sorry about this mistake and are working to put things right with those customers impacted.
