Conversion Date Problem

Hi guys,
I've set up a new MYOB file with the usual processes, have been doing for 5 years now and have never heard of a conversion date.

The new file was set up with 16/17 year n first month as July, but it won't let me bring transactions over from the old file & SERVICEM8 won't send the invoices to it either.
It also won't let me enter any transactions for July as it says its the conversion month.

So I started another new one, and entered first month as JUNE n it still did the dame trick.
How do I start the MYOB file so I can just enter & import files from JULY 1?

Re: Conversion Date Problem

@abcdemolition

When we start a new file we set the date to the start of the file to twelve months prior to the date that which we require the file. This enables us to put in open invoices  and bills from the old file and to enter the bank as per the 30 June reconciliation report on the old file. We then reconcile the bank as at 30 June.
