To be able to search sales invoices via ship to address. We have a customer we invoice for thousands clients. If we can search invoices via the ship to address as this where the goods get delivered to, so when we need to search a clients invoice we have to sift through so many invoices to find it. The manner in which AR 2013 prints backorder invoices needs to be changed.   There is no logical reason for the backordered product to be listed with a zero quantity and zero value then listed again in the backorder section.  The original invoice line should be automatically deleted if the entire quantity is on backorder.  It causes unneccesary confusion the way it is and looks totally unprofessional.   "Printing Backorder Invoices" ... Hello,   At the moment if a credit exists for a customer the first reminder we receive is when processing a payment, it would make more sense (to me) if the warning came when the invoice was raised otherwise that horse has already bolted, if advised earlier an adjustment by way of the credit would reduce the invoice at that point and the credit issue is resolved.  As it stands if its missed and not picked up it can continue invoice after invoice, and it would be a better solution than sticky notes on the screen to remind of customers with credits.   "Warning that a credit exists when raising invoice" ... It would be great if a user could easily recognise where the cursor is when entering Sale & Purchase Transactions Lines.   At the present time it is difficult to quickly identify where the cursor is awaiting a value in a transaction line or even if the cursor is in a transaction line ready to accept input as the transaction is completely filled with the MYOB purple colour.   It would be a great idea if a user can easily identify that he/she is in a transaction line and what field in that transaction line is awaiting input from the user.   In the attached example of a 'Purchases Type Bill - Item Layout' screen there is a clue where the cursor is awaiting input.  Can you recognise it? If you can then you have done well, but the same clue is unavailable in a 'Purchases Type Bill - Service Layout' screen.   "Where am I?" ... View more

HI, it would be really helpful if i could follow the path of the activity slip (not the time version) all teh way through to the invoice that is generated.   i do an activity report and it shows that they are not billed, yet when i go to the customer it has an invoice ....... as i am unable to get a report that has the link that joins them both - being the activity slip ID - i am unable to work out what has gone wrong.   cheers F   "Sales report that has the invoice and the activity slip ID" ... It would be amazing if when you invoice a sale, and print the invoice for the customer, if every payment made on that invoice was displayed with the date, amount and type of payment. (Credit Card, Cash, Direct etc).   I don't understand how this is not a thing already. I would love to see a user customisable setting (via preferences) that lets the user select the date range viewable in the Sales and Purchases Register, it'd also be productive to have default buttons that show "THIS MONTH", "LAST MONTH" so that you can see at a glance your register for the chosen period.   ie  In preferences I could set up SALES REGISTER "Custom Display" to be 7 days In preferences I could set up PURCHASES REGISTER "Custom Display to be 14 days   When I'd go into SALES REGISTER (or purchases register), I would see the date range as normal, however there'd be click choices to populate these fields with either "CURRENT MONTH", "LAST MONTH" or "CUSTOM DATES" - it's painful having to type in them, especially for the week or so after a change of month. Please could we have a Categories column in the Enter Sales and Enter Purchases windows. Our company has three branches that we need to report on individually as well as a group. At the moment when we receive supplier invoices from for example telephone companies, IT providers etc we need to split the bill across the three branches or cost centres, currently to do this in myob we have to enter the bill three times, once for each branch/category/cost centre at the apportioned amount. The Sales Register date filter is annoying. Every time you search for an invoice you there are a bunch of extra steps. I wish under the date filter section there were radio buttons with pre-filled options so I didnt have to put in a start date and an end date every single time I have to search for an invoice. Radio buttons could include - Today - This Week - This Month - Last Month - Last Quarter - Custom Date I also wish the Sales Register would default to show all invoices for the last quarter so if im looking up an invoice that's just been done I dont have to enter anything in the date filter at all. After an extremely frustrating chat with MPOWERED sales today, I'm here.. .offering a tip for the community to consider.   Increasing my existing clients are asking for credit card facilities. My discussion with MYOB was how to integrate a set percentage ie surchange into the payment if a client chooses to pay by a means other than direct funds transfer to our bank account.     I understand many retailers factor that into their fees, we're not in a position to do that, and I'd like to give the person paying the option as to the way they pay us and how many credit card fees are attached. please provide ability to copy existing quotes / sales   you could include the button copy sale to copy a sale / quote when beggining a new one.   or   use an existing quote / sale and change its invoice number to save it as a new quote/sale instead of overwriting the original invoice number. When you create a new quotation or invoice, the Tax Inclusive checkbox is 'remembered' from the previous transaction.  I would like configuration so that all new invoices/quotations have the checkbox ticked or unticked according to the configuration setting.  This means that each business could control the setting according to their business requirements.   In our personal business situation, industry standard for our commercial work is typically GST exclusive whereas our domestic stream of work is typically GST inclusive.  We have had a couple of occasions now where the GST checkbox was 'remembered' from the last quotation (that was GST inclusive) and as a consequence a quotation that should have had 10% added for GST was not added because it was not noticed that the checkbox was on.  This of course can be the difference between making a profit or a loss.     ... Great improvement on being able to send sales invoices directly from MYOB without an email client. However, when sending customer statements, we do not have any "View Activity" button like we have for sales invoices. How will we know if the customer has indeed received the statement. We used to be able to change number of copies and have MYOB AR v 19.5 remember. It doesn't do that on v 2013 which we have just upgraded to. Please can we have this back so we don't have to keep clicking to change the number of copies   "Printing 2 copies of an invoice" ... View more

Any chance we could get the option to setup a unique email address for individual customer so I may email statements out monthly to the customers preferred accounts email address.   I am well aware there are 5 configurable email addresses to choose from but I want to have a dedicated email address for the account statements to go to, sick of changing/forgetting  to pick the correct email address when emailing out dozens of statements at the end of month.    Such a simple option would make the software so much more valuable.   "Easily Email Statements" ...
