Notes on Payslips would be great especially prior to any events including year end processes. A number of our customers have asked us to include our invoice number and their order number in the email which has the invoice attached. This is to save them time from having to open multiple invoices to find a specific invoice they are looking for. From chatting to the helpdesk this evening, I was told this is only able to be hard-typed, so we would manually need to do this for each invoice. I was wondering if it is possible to add the salesperson in the MYOB On-The-Go app? It's part of my Clients invoice to include the salesperson name and they'd like to be able to do this using the app. This is a major gap in the app. Would certainly benefit business efficiency and reporting. When I try and change an email address within the statement screen.   The invoice still goes to the wrong receiptent  (i.e. the email address orginally in the card file).  SEE BELOW.  Same issue if  you try to email an invoice as well.  Please vote for this needs to be fixed.  It used to work correctly in Version 19.9.          "Error when updating email addresses when emailing from bulk invoices or statements screen" ... Recently, I found that a supplier's ABN has been cancelled while looking into supplier's card because the abn colour has changed to "Orange" colour. I was processing the above supplier's invoice through purchases not being aware that the ABN has been cancelled a couple of months before. I usually enter purchases through "Recurring Transactions" It would be good idea if there was a warning visible while entering the purchase for supplier's who's ABN has changed or been cancelled. ... Can the developers of MYOB please upgrade the 2013 version of MYOB to enable the job budget analysis report to show a zero in the budget analysis line and an amount coded against it in the actual line, as version 19 use to do - PLEASE!!!!  (and still vice versa)   We run a building company and utilise the Budget Analysis Report consistently to show clients where their jobs are at. For a Cost Plus Contract our clients are given a budget estimate prior to work commencing. They will often add or change the scope of work as we go. It is 100% relevant to have a budget of zero and then have an amount against a code - for example the client decides to get us to do their paving, which was not part of the initial scope of works. The job budget analysis should show zero in the budget and then an amount for paving supply and paving labour.   We actually use this report to prepare our invoice for clients who are on a Cost Plus Contract. We get the total cost of sales, add our margin - eg 25%, subtract any previous payments, and then add GST. We can look through the budget analysis report and check everything has been included.   The client receives a copy of the Job Budget Anaylsis Report with their Tax Invoice. This is quicker and looks far neater than using reimbursable items with a %.   When I phoned MYOB technical support they suggested to use the Job Profit & Loss Report. However this report is severely limited in this instance as it will only display information for a particular financial year. If a job runs for example from Mar to September, then it will not show the entire job. It appears you can only import invoices with about 5 - 7 lines, any more than this and the invoice doesn't import.  On previous versions I had no problems importing invoices with 30 or so lines.  As I do this at every month end the suggestion from the report team that I manually key the invoices, or break it into several invoices just won't work.  Can you please upgrade the number of lines that can be included in a single invoice.   "importing invoice data from a csv file" ... Is is possible to have a UNDO ALL button on the BANK FEEDS screen like the APPROVE ALL.   Today my client (new to bank feeds) had got into a terrible mess with the bank reconciliation and bank feeds dating back to 1 July with loads of transactions.   They use cheques a lot and the fastest way to fix the issue was to undo the bank reconciliations.   Go into the approved bank feeds screen undo all the bank feeds.  Then re-approve them.... it worked perfectly and I managed to balance a lot faster than if I decided to go with the old tick tick method but took a while clicking all the transactions to undo each one individually.    Would have made process even faster if I had a undo all function within the date range I chose.   My client almost resorted to not using the bank feeds ... thankfully I could show her how easily it was to fix and restored her faith.   Bank Feeds Rule every time !  'Undo ALL button on Bank Feeds please" ... I am new to using multi currency, however I do understand the logic behind it.  When it is a simple case of recording a sale (at a given exchange rate) and then receiving the funds (at a different exchange rate), the difference will be recognised as fx gain/loss.  I believe MYOB handles this easily.   However when I make use of the Sales Order/Customer deposits facility, it does not work so easily (I am happy to be corrected, but I spoke to support today and they agreed with me and suggested I post details of it here, so this is exactly what I am doing).   I have attached screen prints of my example.  The chain of events is as follows: 1) Sales Order raised - EUR1000 (AUD 1,200 equivalent) 2) Customer deposit received for full amount - EUR1000 (AUD1,300 equivalent) 3) Sales Order coverted to Invoice   Theoretically, after all these transactions, the Balance Sheet accounts (Trade Debtors/Trade Debtors Exchange Account + Customer Deposits/Customer Deposits Exchange Account) should all be nil - i.e. invoice raised and paid in full, so nothing should be left on the balance sheet.  But there is - $100DR in Trade Debtors Exchange Account and $100CR in Customer Deposits Exchange Account - these amounts need to offset each other (by a manual general journal).  Refer attached screen prints.   So I then thought if manually cleared the $100 gain at the customer receipt stage (because MYOB will allow you to change the gain or loss to whatever you want it to be - sounds dangerous), then maybe I would solve my issue.  However, I end up with $100CR in Customer Deposits Exchange Account and missing $100CR in FX gain. Again a GJ required to clear the imbalance. Refer attached screen prints.   Do you agree there is an issue here? In previous versions hitting Enter acted like an =.      Easier than using mouse so can we use Enter for = in a future version, provided there is no reason that you have changed this step in the update. I urgently need the ability to be able to turn off  the security preference while having other windows open and to be able to keep this window open while I work on the other windows.   The reason I need this is that I know whether I can go in to a locked period and change an entry or not, but my mind is a bit forgetful at times (or the phone rings etc) and if after having changed one or more entries I don't have the security window still open to remind me, I have forgotten to relock the file.   My Tassie mate Tony has come up with a solution that may be able to be used to fix my problem and this is attached.   Maybe other Partners/CC's might like to vote or comment on whether they have this need as well.   "Security Preference" ... It would be a brilliant idea if the Customised payslips can be printed in alphabetical order (surname) as per the Payroll summary report so that cross checking is easy.   I print mine in duplex and always have to re-sort them in PDF Manager which takes a great deal of time, considering I have anywhere from 20 -50 employees!!   Thanks   Pamela   "Customised payslips printing in alphabetical order" ... Is it possible you guys can do something about the sizes of the columns in the MYOB software? Everything is, by default (and unchangeable I might add), STILL set to the same size as when we all used to use the 17" 4:3 CRT monitors.   Don't know about you guys, but I've been using a 16:9 monitor for years now, and MYOB REALLY needs to update their software so we can get wider columns.   The times when I find this most relevant is under Find Transactions>Card, then under the card name, the "memo" column isn't wide enough. Please can we have the analyse Inventory summary report back - the detail report is way too long - 150 pages in the case of 1 client - just not practical to print. As all other documents you open have the close button in the top right corner so I find I constantly accidently close MYOB when I just want to close an invoice window. Please can the invoice close be moved or a cancel button be added to the MYOB close button like many other programs have. It drives me mad!
