RESOLVED: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException error when running reports in AccountRight

Hi all,

CURRENT STATUS: Resolved with AccountRight 2016.3 - AccountRight 2016.3 now availabe

We have received reports from some clients about getting the following error message when running reports in AccountRight.

Issue: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException error when running reports

Product: AccountRight

Cause: We suspect the issue has to do with a recent Windows 10 anniversary update.

Workaround:

1. Click Advanced Filters instead of Display Report in the Index to Reports window.advancedfitlers.png

2. Apply the required filters.

3. Click Run Report.

If you need to apply a different filter, close the report and repeat this process. If you weren’t running a report and you continue getting errors, see this help topic for more info.

NOTE: The core functionalities of AccountRight should continue to behave as expected. At this stage the only function impacted appears to be the ability to run reports.

Our team is actively working on finding a resolution to the issue. We will keep you posted via this post.

Kind regards,
