How do I get my money back?
I bought this new 'Account Right' product from Office Works. They won't take it back because it has been opened and used.
The new Account Right 2011 is obviously very flawed. It won't even sit it's user windows into the screen space properly let alone give someway of changing the windows shape so they can be closed. This is basic stuff. WTF.
It is ridiculously slow when it is on, won't save any backup files and won't open any files after it has been shut down the first time.
I would love to report more but I can't access the programme I just forked out good money for.
I also spent money on a course to use this programme, now I will have to not only buy a different product (Quicken springs to mind) but learn it, meanwhile doing my books by hand and desperately pleading with the ATO for more time.
Seriously...How do I get my money back and where do I send the invoice for my time? Maybe a free copy of the previous version should be offered at least.

I would be asking MYOB for a download acess to V19.6 - as this version won't cause you any problems. At least that way - you haven't wasted your money totally - and you can upgrade to 2011 when they fix up all the bugs.

Where is this this download? I cant even print invoices with MYOB2011 even with the service 2 pack!! This program set me back almost $1000 and I cant even print invoices. Very unproffessional to do manual invoices for an accounting firm!!!!

To Grrr and Grunta,
You by now have obviously read many of the posts concerning V2011. I had problems in getting V2011 loaded and working for which I'm very grateful as I'm still using V19.6.
MYOB has deservedly come in for a huge amount of critiscm for theis new version. I also have been one of the many critics. However I've been using Account Right Plus and it's earlier versions for over 12 years. During this period I've found the programme to be well designed and great to use.This is the first time I can recall anything like this happening. I'm sure many users would echo these sentiments.
If you decide to use V19.6 in preference to the new V2011 I'm sure you will find it a very stisfactory accounting package.

Version 19 is excellent and we have recommended it to many collegues, 2011 is definately a dud and I can see a class action looming here under Section 19 of the Goods act unless things improve markedly and quickly.
Would never have upgraded except that myob has always been the best and most trusted product on the market (in my opinion), so I trusted that this would be just as good.
