JobMaker declaration

I have made  a Jobmaker declaration but my accountant looking on the ATO portal says “ THE 20 HOURS WORKED OR PAID IS NOT PROVIDED” The declaration was made on the 7th July. Is there a way of telling...

    Hi Marc 

     

    You can't claim for a period until the Claim period for that JobMaker period, confused yet? So JobMaker period 3 is 7 April - 6 July, you can claim for that period from 1 August - 31 October. From the 1 August you'll be able to claim for period 3 in the JobMaker tab.

Hi, 

I declared today, 3/8/2021

I have the same error despite declaring in the correct period.

    Hi JDRI 

     

    Can you please clarify which error message you are receiving? Have you nominated your employees in the JobMaker tab?

      Thank you for your reply

      On the ATO site I am told Incomplete, the date of birth, commencment date or 20 hour declaration has not been reported. 

      I have nominated / declared a number of times and even recorded zero pay cheques then updated as per online instruction from MYOB. 

      I spoke to the ATO and they say that the code is incorrect for period 3 and have given me the code as per their table to enter. 

      There is no where in MYOB to enter this. 

      I am holding on the phone now, 2 hours and 14 minutes so far for MYOB help but am being passed from rep to rep.

        Hi JDRI 

         

        The JobMaker codes are reported automatically when you send the nominations and declarations, you can't manually send these codes. Can you clarify what you mean by you've declard a number of times? Do you mean that you've removed the declaration and re-declared the employees in the Payroll reporting centre>>JobMaker tab?

         

        Have you checked that the employee's date of birth and commencement date are correct in their employee card? If you have made changes to this information in the employee card did you update the information through the JobMaker tab.

         

        Did you select the renomination box when nominating the employees? If so, you need to remove the nomination and redo without ticking that option:

         

        1. Click the 3 dots next to employee’s name and choose Remove nomination.
        2. Click the 3 dots next to employee’s name and choose Nominate employee.
        3. On the nominate employee window don’t tick the check box (this is only for renominations) and select nominate.
        4. Declare this to the ATO
