Time In Lieu

Why is my Time in Lieu taken making the wages go higher than it would if the same hours were in the base hourly rate?

  • Hi DBTSS

Thanks for your post. Based on the information I can see in the screenshot the gross wages is the same for 38 base hourly and 30.4 base hourly plus 7.6 TIL taken.

Base hourly gross $797.39 divided by 30.4 = $26.22 hourly rate

    TIL taken 7.6 hours x $26.22 = $199.35

    Equals $996.74 gross wages

    $26.22 x 38 base hours = $996.70

So that I can assist further can you let me know the employee's hourly rate, the gross amount and net amounts if 38 base hourly are paid, the tax amount and the set up of the TIL taken payroll category.
