school based apprentice setting up annual leave and sick leave accrual

Looking for some help please :)  nearly 16year old school based apprentice - only does 1 day per week (7.5hrs) but have to pay 9.375hrs per week.  I have set his annual leave accrual  to .7212 per week ( 4wks a/l  that being 9.375 x 4wks = 37.50hours / 52 wks = .7212 per week.

But the sick leave is confusing me as it is apparently 10 days a year and not based on hours now due to some court regulation.   So does this mean that it should be 9.375hrs (1 day per wk) x 10 days sl entitlement = 93.75hrs /52wks = 1.803 accrue pw which = 93.756hrs for year

or if i use the 3.846% on gross hours of 9.375 pw = .3605 per wk x 52 wks = 18.749 hrs

Sick leave accrues in hours in myob not days.

    Thanks for your post. The most recent information we’ve been provided regarding this Federal Court ruling is that, at this stage, the decision has been appealed, is still within the court system, and no legislation has been changed yet.

     

    Once this legal process is completed, and if the legislation is officially changed by the Australian Government, MYOB will update our products to be fully compliant.
