I have tried this solution and found that the standard sales report - Analyse Sales [Item] does not work. Why would this be?

This can happen if there are transactions having items which are no longer marked as "I Sell". This can be identified by exporting items and seeing which ones have income accounts but no 'S' for I sell.
If you try to select some items and then run the report, it might work, but we are aware of this report not displaying any information in some circumstances and have raised it with the teams. We do not have an estimated time frame of when it will be fixed permanently but will post an update if we have further information.

The items that should appear on the report do have an S against them. This report worked when we restored a previous backup.
We really need a solution for running this standard report.

Our teams are still trying to work out a permanent solution for this report, in the meanwhile, it will be recommended to try selecting one item at a time and then run the report. If it doesn't work, please run alternative reports and we'll post an update once anything around this one changes.
