Constant Not Responding on All Computers

We have MYOB Account Right on 5 different PC's, used at different locations, different internet ports.  When reocrding a purchase or sale, sometimes in the middle of the transaction, (Not Responding) appears, blue internet circle keeps thinking, am I going to do it, foes around and around. Then the error message comes up.  Quetion: An appolication has timed out? Would you like to retry the operation?  Is this happening to others, are you able to asssist us, as it is doing our head in.  Screen shot atached.

Have you applied the timeout extender to all computers? It likely needs to be re-applied after each update.

Also if you are getting this on all computers, you may need to consider the size of your file. The timeout extender doesn't speed up the process, it simply allows AR2023 more time to complete the task. If the file size is the issue, reducing the file (purging) or starting a new file will reduce the time it takes to complete a process.

If your file is online, the only way to see the file size is to make a backup. Check the size of the backup zip file, your company file will be approx 5 times the size of the zip file.

    Regards

Thank you. Not sure how we are going to proceed as we often need to revert back to previous years, purchases, for a warranty. Not realise that MYOB was this restrictive.  Will need an IT expert to assist with this.  Thanks once again. Much appreciated

Hi ihearne , if I may add, one of the basic performance measures is to add an exclusion for the huxley app in your antivirus program. Has that been done? It really makes a difference.
