Recipient Created Tax Invoices intermittently failing

Hi,

 

We have had the same issue with RCTIs occurring at least every couple of weeks, where it simply stops working for several days.

 

We always have to call MYOB support and often it "resolves itself" and no-one is able to explain how it was resolved or how we can resolve it ourselves.

 

The frustration is we are constantly behind in our RCTIs and therefore our suppliers (contract fishermen) are constantly chasing us for confirmations and they are frustrated (as are we!)

 

The same thing happens each time. We try to input the RCTI in the Desktop app, either through recurring purchases or as a manual RCTI and we get the "spinning circle of death" for around a minute, before getting the timed out warning (image attached).

 

When we try to do an RCTI in the Online version of MYOB (in a web browser) there are two issues:

1) It still times out; and

2) It doesn't do the invoice completely, missing the item location detail.

 

Each time we call MYOB, it can take days to sort out, then it simply "resolves itself" and we are none the wiser, simply chasing our tails each time this issue occurs.

 

If we could either a) find out what exactly is causing the issue (and find out how to resolve it ourselves); or

b) have a permanent fix for it, so it stops happening!

 

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

    Dear MYOB Community,

     

    This intermittent issue is happening again. Appears to occur on a fortnightly basis? 

     

    Would love to know what the "self-resolution" is so that we don't have to call MYOB every two weeks to try and resolve the issue.

     

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you for your question, If you are running into a timeout error, I would suggest following our tips and tricks to extend the timeout timer. This timer could be why it is functioning sometimes and not others.
