I wish to allocate all deposits received in my bank account to Fees Received.

How do I create a rule to allocate all deposits to fees.

Assume you are using AccountRight.

Go to Bank feeds and find a deposit.

In the centre column there are a find and a new button - click on new.

Now click on Transaction Rule.

The Rule Name should be something like Income, or Deposits, or Fees Received.

In the exact word or phrase space chose something from the description that appears.

This needs to be something that is common to all deposits.

Then in the allocate to area use the drop down arrow and choose you income account for Fees Received.

As long as the exact same word of phrase appears on every deposit they will now all be allocated to your fee Income account.
