MYOB AR 2017.1.1. my client is cutting down my hours as she believes she can save money by getting an accounts person to do some of my work like data entry, invoicing, payments and reconciliations. so my hours will be 7 hours per fortnight instead of 7 hours per week but she is hiring someone 10 hours per fortnight . she will be saving a couple of thousands per year but i also think it is a way to test if someone else can do the work for less money. anyway I have created a new user and would like to give them limited access. i have giving them access to sales, banking, purchases and cards. I would also like to give them access to all reports except payroll. is this possible? TIA
Go to Setup>User Access>Manage roles
right click on Accountant/bookkeeper and select duplicate roles
A copy will be created,
Untick payroll group and in Reports untick Payroll and in cards untick employee cards.
go through each category and untick anything you don't want available.
When finished select "Save"
Double Click on the title "Copy of Accountant/Bookkeeper" and rename to whatever you like.
Now you can assign this customised profile to the new employee.
