Long serve leave YTD

Hi, the LSL for one employee is -199.445 YTD in her card

But shows positive of 3137.5 on her payslip.

How would it be?  I want my payslip to show the correct balance ( -119.445) on the payslip.

Thanks in advance

As per your payslip - the amount is a $ figure. You probably should start accruing LSL by working out the entitlement to date then doing a void pay to bring in the accrued to date. At the moment it looks as though she owes the company.

I have just  realised that you are not tracking leave accrual through the payroll module. The normal way the payroll module works is that leave is accrued on a per pay basis and then when the leave is taken the accrual total is reduced. You should be able to tell an employee what their leave entitlement is at any given time.

The exception to the above is if you are in Victoria as casual employees are eligible for LSL.

If you are tracking leave elsewhere then the 119+ hours should go to Base Hourly, because at the moment it looks as though she has overdrawn her LSL account by this amount.

I would be getting an experienced Certified Consultant to go over the setup of your payroll module.
