Hi @NTMS, there is no default setting for this. You should contact the workshop software support team and discuss this with them. It could be that their software has option settings which affect this. It's also possible that  the content of the item name field is being directed to the item description field. 

 

The data being sent to create a new item via the API will look like this (in part):

 

"UID" : "d5ab0fd1-3bf4-4230-bbaf-90b26ea9afda",

"Number" : "120",

"Name" : "Cooler Filter Large",

"IsActive" : true,

"Description" : "Long description for use on sales & purchases",

"UseDescription" : true,

Inventory

How do we untick the box in inventory, use item description on sales and purchasers. Each time we create a new item in workshop software, when it goes across to MYOB without displaying the item name, as this box must be ticked some where behind the system, therefore each day, we go into item list and copy and paste the name from item description into item name. so I believe if we untick this box, then we won't have to do this anymore, can someone please assist?
