This link for 2016 version http://localhost:8080/AccountRight/1...a/?api-version=v2 is bringing a lot more end points than earlier. However when I click on http://localhost:8080/AccountRight/1...a/sale/invoice/item link, it gives me http 404 error.
Link from General ledger, contact seem to work fine.
All I'm looking for is to extract data from Sales table that we use in Accountright plus v19.13 at the moment.
Please let me know how to get this data.
Thanks for the response in regards to Sql server. I will look into options shortly.
In regards to importing in Excel, I am unable to get all end points. Please advise how to resolve this issue.
Hi there Jyothi
To READ the API you will need to do one of the following:
Hope that helps
My understanding is that we don't need to buy Add-on if we are just connecting to READ all end points.
I will leave it to Developers to confirm that.
What you need is a 3rd party add-on, or one that you build yourself, to read AccountRight Live, end-point by end-point, and store the data in an SQL database. Its not like the old ODBC way of doing things as the database in now in the cloud and not on-site.
Look in the Development Partner section of the website for Add-Ons.
Can someone please help me how to connect myob (all end points) to sql server 2014.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have used ?api_version=v2 in the URL and it still gets a few endpoints that I stated below.
Also, when I clicked on the link you have provided, I get the 404 error.
Provided you are using ?api_version=v2 in the URL then you should be able to see ALL the endpoints.
To find out which ones there are you can visit http://developer.myob.com/api/accountright/v2/
You can filter and create queries using OData and you can learn more about this here http://developer.myob.com/api/accountright/api-overview/retrieving-data/
If you are having troubles with those you can email your API access logs or details to email@example.com and the team can support you there
Hope that helps
I have moved your post onto our API board where our API and Developer support team as well as our other Forum users and developers will be able to further assist you further.

Thank you Helen/Neil.
I was able to import data into excel successfully.
I can see very few tables like account/customer/contact/generaljounal/personalcard/taxcode etc, but I don't see any tables related to sales or invoices.
I understand that we extracting via web query. Is it possible to use database query, so we can apply parameters.
Would you be able to help me.
Thank you very much.
