AccountRight information, hints and tips

I have used an old version of MYOB for a long time and have several companies. I have recently upgraded to a newer version and am unable to open any of these!!! Can anyone help me PLEASE????

Hi Patricia,

What version of MYOB were you using previously and what version are you using now?

If it is a very old version (MYOB Accounting V13 & before) the file extension for the old files will be .dat - the current file extension for AccountRight is .myo and when you try to open the file it looks for that extension.  To open the older files you have to change the file type in the Open File dialog box from .myo to all files then you will be able to select your file.
