I have a standalone computer and i have MYOB AO installed on it. I am running Windows 7. I tried to install the latest update: MYOB AO 2017.0 but it did not work. I can not now access MYOB AO anymore and get into any tax returns.
Do i need to upgrade to Windows 10 in order for the latest version upgrade to work??
If not, how can i successfully download the latest version??
Can someone please tell me what is the best course of action to take from here??
i need to access my client previous years tax returns??

While AO is not supported on Windows 7 anymore (since December 31, 2016), it should still install on this platform. Without knowing the errors you encounter during install, we can't really provide an answer for this.
If you can provide some information about the problem you encountered etc, we might be able to provide some guidance. But at the same time, you should be looking to move to a supported platform, such as Windows 10 (its quite a nice OS. I was reluctant to move my computers at home from Windows 7, but once i did, I really loved it!)
Obviously, telephone support is technically not avaialble as you are installing on an unsupported platform - however the phone support team would also provide a bit of guidance to help you along in the interim until you can upgrade.
If you can provide some additional detail about what occured, and what you are experiencing now, what isn't working etc, then we can provide some guidance.
