Budget entry FY 2012

I am using Account Right Basics 2011.1 All updates have been downloaded and I have even had the programme reinstalled.

My problem is that when I try to set individual a/c budgets, they are not being retained.

The "process" of setting up a budget in an individual a/c seems to be ok, however when I click OK and close the window , go back in and  the budget set has "disappeared".

The window shows no figures in total or in individual months.

I have also tried to "zero" the a/c which has made no difference.   Although there are no figures showing in "prepare budgets" when I go to reports (P & L analysis) the a/c budgeted figure has actually "increased".

I have been waiting 2 months for a solution to this problem so hope there is someone who can now help me.

Thanks.

Re: Budget entry FY 2012

Hi Mck,

We are aware of an issue with budgets not always being remembered once exiting out of the budgets area.

This issue has been logged with Product Development to be addressed in a future update.

Kind Regards

Barry

Re: Budget entry FY 2012

Hi Barry,

do you have a time frame for when the next update will be?  I am having to produce budgets in Excel to overcome the problem in MYOB which is particuarly frustrating.

Hi Irene,

Service Pack 3 is due out in the coming weeks however currently I am not aware if this will address the budgets error reported above. I will update you as soon as I have more information.

Kind Regards
