We upgraded from Myob 18.x to AccountRight, however I now find when I try to export a report into an excel spreadsheet.
I have contacted MYOB to discuss, however was not happy with the response. We tried a re-install of the software but without success. Does anybody else have this problem??

Hi OFoods
Can you tell us what problems you are having when you try to export to excel??

Hi Leanne,
When we attempt to export to excel, we get two pop-up windows.
The first - "Failure creating OLE driver object"
The second - "Error in officelink process"
Upon contacting MYOB support, they suggested the installtion may be corrupted and to re-install AR+. Did this but no change. Their next suggestion was to export it to a tab-delimited text file then import it into excel. Yes I can do this, but why when the function to export direct to excel is available and it worked fine before upgrading from v18.5 accounting plus.
Any suggestion??
Thanks.

I upgraded a client from MYOB v18 to ARPlus v19 or whatever it is. I haven't had a problem exporting to excel but I did have to do a bit of fiddling about before it worked.
Q: are you trying to export to a standard MYOB xl spreadsheet (those deeply ugly templates that they still have - why don't they update them??) ... or are you trying to export to an XL template / renamed file of your own?

MYOB's OfficeLink drivers are registered with Windows each time your computer is started. If this registration process fails, OfficeLink won't work. To correct this, click on the Windows Start menu and select 'Run'. Type in the following commands then click OK. Note: Each command needs to be run separately.
You may need to change the above folder name from Enterprise19 to your version of MYOB (wherever you version of MYOB is installed).

Hi,
I have upgraded from Accounting Plus 15 to AccountRight 19 and find that I cannot send excel reports direct to excel. I have tried the solution suggested in the thread without success. I cannot locate these files.
Hope someone has a solution.

Hi Bill
The send to spreadsheet function will only work with Microsoft Excel.
