We will certainly be providing a compliance update for our classic platform so there is no need to move to the new AccountRight. The compliance update for Premier will be released before the end of June. It will upgrade your software to version 19.9. You can sign up to be immediately notified when the update is available at http://myob.com.au/eofy
Please note that a Premier version of the new AccountRight is not currently available, although if you only use Premier for its multi-user functionality and not features like multi-currency you can move to AccountRight Plus 2013. However, we recommend clients not to upgrade to the new platform during the busy end of financial year period but rather at a quieter time that is appropriate for their business.
Your cover subscription provides the opportunity to download AccountRight 2013.1 for testing and evaluation purposes so you can make an informed decision about moving to the new platform when you feel the time is right. We have put together resources to help clients decide - Upgrading to the new AccountRight. The site includes information and videos exploring some of the main benefits of upgrading and the changes you will notice. It also includes information about some of the reasons why it might be better for you to remain with your current version of AccountRight for the time being.
All the best,

Where can I obtain this AccountRight 2013.1 for testing and evaluation purposes edition?
We use Account Right Premier.
We do not use more than one currency but have multi user access.

You can download a copy of AccountRight Live Plus 2013 for testing purposes from our test drive page linked below:
The test drive will require you to create a new file rather than test it with your existing data. However if you do purchase a crossgrade to AccountRight Live Plus you will be able to bring across your existing data unless you have used the multi-currency feature in Premier.
AccountRight Live Plus has the features of Premier except for multi-currency support and local area network multi-user. However if you do use the file online with AccountRight Plus, you will be able to have up to five people using the file concurrently.
AccountRight Live Plus also doesn't support M-Powered services.
Premier has an ODBC driver which allows third-party developers to write add-on programs. AccountRight Live Plus doesn't have this driver, but does have an API that allows third-party access. So while both programs allow third-party developers to write add-on programs, not all of these programs will be compatible with both version. Check with the developer of any add-on software you use before changing.
