Wow, I cannot believe MYOB has gone and released a new version without adequate testing and verification. You have simply released a beta version so that the poor suckers who have paid for AccountRight 2011 have to put up with a product that defies belief. Do you expect us to do the testing for you?? At no cost?? You're kidding yourselves.
I am sure that all that is wrong with this poor attempt by MYOB has been listed ad nauseum in the many forums and the promises by MYOB to fix the problems, that should not have been there in the first place, have yet to be realised 5 months after release.
We are all wasting time and money, both ours and our client's. I will not be recommending any MYOB products to clients in future. Instead, I am starting to migrate clients to QB who are rubbing their hands with delight at the incompetence of MYOB. This time you have outsmarted yourselves.

I note your comment that SP3 is in the final testing stage. I also read a recent post that you had a very successful demonstration of the program using SP3. This must mean that it is almost due for release.
Will there be any major issues still to be rectified after its release? For example does SP3 fix up the problems of exporting data to Excel?

Are you talking about the exporting General Ledger report to excel and the Account Numbers drop off? As this was only recently discovered, it's unlikely to be included in Service Pack 3 however I will let you know as soon as I have the release notes.

The problem I was talking about was where numbers are formatted as text, but that will also probably not be included as it was only a fairly recent post..
The Excel problem was only an example. I was really wondering if there are many reported problems that will have to be corrected in a later Service Pack.
I'm still on V19.6 and I don't wish to convert until all the problems are resolved.

There were some excel reports in v19 that had the incorrect formatting in some columns, so perhaps you are just being a liitle sensitive when you find something in AR2011. i do not think that the spreadsheet templates have changed in the new version so they will still be the same.
What you could try to do is to locate the excel template for the particulsr form, open it in excel as a template, select the problem column, change the format to number or currency, and save it with the same name. this may solve it for you.
Another method is to send & save the report oa HTM file & then open this file with excel. that also works for date issues when excel assumes that they are in US format.

David is certainly correct in saying v19 also had the same issue with some reports formatting columns incorrectly.
In AccountRight 2011, you can find the reports in your C:\ProgramData\MYOB\AccountRight\2011.1\AU\Reports

Do you mean c:\Program Files? Even so, I can't find the equivalent folder in the NZ install?
The issue relating to exporting figures to Excel is that ALL values (in profit reports for example) are exported with a leading $ sign. Excel then treats this value as text, even though the cell is pre-formatted as currency, and therefore calcualtions cannot be done on these cells.
A temporary workaround is to select all value columns, and use Edit/Replace to replace all instances of $ with nothing.
The proper solution is to amend the AR2011 'Office-Link' routines to remove the unwanted $ sign from the exported values. SP3 does not have a fix for this.

The ProgramData folder on my PC is a hidden folder. Can you change your Windows explorer preferences to view hidden files and folders.
Edit: I seen after posting this comment you have found the ProgramData folder.
