How do I change the financial year in MYOB Account Right Basics

Hi There, I need to change the current financial year from 1 July 2011 to 1 July 2010 so I can record entries from April-June 2010,  I am looking at purchasing the software  and need to enter in all entries from start of business.  Can anyone help if you know where in software to change before I purchase the software.  Thanks

Are you using a trial version ?

When the file is created you have the option of what year you wish to start in. In an exisiting file you can not go backwards.

Hi Chelle,

As Nicquel mentioned, when you create a file with the wrong year, it's unable to be rolled back.  You will need to create another file ensuring you enter the correct year.

Kind Regards
