Hi, We have recently upgraded to then new Accountright Online.
When trying to put an order in and the item number is not comming up which was originally in the system.
I then go to create a new one with the same item number that was previously in the system and it says already used? Thanks

Do you have quite a number of items in your items list? If so, it may simply be an issue where loading the items is taking too long (thus, not all of them are appearing) - this can be an issue especially if your internet is lagging or experiencing connection issues. In this case, you may want to try typing in the first digit or two of the item number - it should be able to filter the list quickly and provide you with a shortened list, where hopefully you'll be able to find the item in question. For instance, if the item number is 234, then type in 23 and see if it appears. If you're still not able to do so, then please let us know so we can investigate further.
Thanks for you help but I dont think this is the case as it is definitly loading and saying no Items in the botton left hand side of the floating window when searching the item number? The internet connection is also fast. Let me know if you think there is anything else we should check.
Hi @Newonestopuser, I'm just wondering whether the option to search by item name (Set-up,Preferences, Windows) is selected? This option can vary by user.
Can you give us an example of the item number you are looking for, what you type, and attach a screenshot of the invoice with the drop-down item search window?
This is occuring when we are creating orders and invoices. I have attached an old purchase order we have done which shows the item number existed.
I have also attached a photo of the dropdown when searching this item.
But like I said before we try and create it again but is says the number has already been created?
Hi @Newonestopuser, can you take ascreenshot of the item profile screen and attach it here? (go to Item List, edit the item, it's the first screen).
Your computer may include the Windows Snipping tool - press Start, type "snip" and see if it appears as an option. Then select "New", and you will be able to drag a rectangle across the screen. Snips can be saved as a jpeg file for attachment here.
I would be checking to see if the item is actually active. You can check this via selecting the Item in the Item List and checking the Inactive Item tickbox in the top right. If the item is not appearing in the list do ensure that you select the Show Inactive option on the Items Lists window.
