V2013 is written to run on MSSql Azure platform and as such doesn't require optimising in the traditional sense as you have done with v19.
Azure [using MSSql] platform build takes care of its self - however - as an MSSql person you can go in under Sql Server Management and compress the database but I believe in MYOB this is all now unnecessary.

Interesting, but when a client of mine complained to MYOB about speed, MYOB compressed their file, so obviously it is still required. It's a shame MYOB has not shared this with CC's.

Hi Gary (@Geejay),
Thank you for your feedback. As @The_Doc explained in his original response on this thread the new SQL platform on which AccountRight 2014 is built does not generally require an optimisation / compacting process.
However in recent times we have compacted the files for some customers experiencing speed issues with their file. This is generally only done in extreme cases, as we find that the compacting process can sometimes cause issues with customised forms in the file.
Having said that I have passed on your feedback to our developers.
