Error: "WM261 - Please contact your software developer" when uploading EMPDUPE

Hi Everyone

Products: AccountEdge v16.5

 

We have identified a situation where clients will receive the following message when attempting to upload their EMPDUPE file to the ATO:

 

Reason Code: WM261 Total errors: 2 Please contact your software developer. The Income Type field must contain either 'S' (salary or wage income) or 'P' (pension income payments).

 

The error does indicate that the EMPUPE file does need to be updated before it can be successfully uploaded. AccountEdge Support Note: Error: "WM261 - Please contact your software developer" when uploading EMPDUPE will be able to assist with that process.

 

Please note that EMPDUPE files created in AccountRight or MYOB Essentials are not affected by this.

Hi Everyone

 

An AccountEdge Patch (version number 21.4.7) has been released that does correct this particular situation. This update can be downloaded and installed via AccountEdge menu >>Check for Updates
