Item 4 Employment Termination Payments (ETP)

Hi team 

 

My client has received two employment termination payments during FY2019.  

 

I have entered two employment termination payment schedules on the tax return as per instructed. 

 

However, the following error message has appeared: 

V2119

ETP schedule is not needed

 

Edit Test

^XXX = 'PY' and ^IQS # 'M'

Explanation

Where the ETP type code is not 'M', an ETP schedule is not required.

EI PY

 

Can you please advise how do we enter details for two different employment termination payment, without creating any error?

    Thanks for your question, and welcome to the MYOB Community Forum!

     

    While in the return, could I get you to check the version you have? To do that, if you go to Help > About, it will show you the version. Based on the error you are getting, I suspect you are on 2019.0, as there was an issue regarding the validation error you are getting in that version.

     

    The error has been resolved in the later versions, so if you update to the latest version, you should find your issue resolved!
