Changes to MYOB Essentials Terms of Use

We have updated our Terms of Use for MYOB Essentials.

 

These updates are as a result of recent law changes which provide greater protection to small businesses when entering into standard form contracts. We have also made some other changes to include our new product modules and features, clarify our billing practices and ensure fair usage across all subscribers. 

Here's a summary of the key changes:

  • we have expanded the MYOB Essentials Terms of Use to include Essentials Connected Ledger, Essentials Accounting Starter, Essentials Payroll (for our New Zealand Users) and our new mobile app feature, MYOB YourPay;
  • we have clarified when and how you can terminate your subscription;
  • we have set out the limited circumstances in which you may be charged a dishonour fee (for example, when if you don’t have enough funds in your nominated account); and
  • to ensure a high quality of service for all of our customers using bank feeds we have activated the MYOB BankFeeds Fair Use Policy (Fair Use Policy), which will take effect from 1 April 2016.  The Fair Use Policy applies to the number of bank feeds transactions that are received in each monthly subscription period.
