Payroll not matching bank transaction

Hi,

Hope someone can help me with this. 

I've not come across this kinda stuff before (i'm still a beginner). 

My Payroll transaction takes the Gross pay which doesn't match the nett pay (Bank transaction), hence I'm unable to match the trasaction to my bank feed.

This results in my end of year balance to be out by a big margin.

I've attached a snapshot of a particular transaction.vip.JPG

Its picking $972.48 instead of $904.48

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge


Taking a look at the screenshot of the transaction you have uploaded it does look correct in the way it has been recorded. You have paid the employee $972.48, $68 worth of tax came out therefore the take home (and payment) amount would be $904.48.

 

In terms of matching that to a bank transaction what was actually paid to the employee? i.e. what value left your bank account in reallife?

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

The actual amount left from the bank account and the one I cant seem to match to payroll was $904.48

When I run the general ledger report it doesn't match to the actual amount from payroll clearing account hence showing out of balance
