Non Current Assets does not exist for Account type for MYOB Essentials. I really need this> HELP

Current Status: Done
Last Changed: June 2021

Hi Everyone

MYOB Essentials allows the user to set up an account with the account type of "Other asset". This is in addition to the other account types of "Other current asset", "Fixed asset", "Bank" and "Account receivable" for asset accounts.

Note: This change is available for the new MYOB Essentials platform. Existing (original) MYOB Essentials platform users will be migrated across to the new platform in due course based on the complexity of their MYOB Essentials product level. At the time of posting, migrations are already underway.

This is a very easy solve. You have an account type for long term liabilities. Why do you not have an account type for Non Current Assets. For example PPE should be classified under this heading. More importantly some organisations have funds set aside under this heading. Please fix this.

I need to set up an account type for Non-Current Assets and cannot find the information for this other than an old post advising to use "Other Assets".  I do not have this option either.

Please, how do I do this??
