In Payment options under invoice settings, the only options for payment are direct deposit or by mail. Cheques are no longer accepting by banks so the mail option is now outdated. Can we please have an eftpos option? There is nowhere to add that in for invoices. Thank you

Please include the option to include $0.00 payruns in the report.
As (multiple) payslips are more difficult to reprint now this report becomes more useful/important.

Hi,
The unpaid invoice report is useful but we often only want to print a list of overdue invoices and this is not possible. We generally have many invoices "open" but not overdue so searching through the report of all the invoices to find the 10-15 that are actually overdue is tedious and a waste of time. It would be handy if this report option could be filtered down to show specific invoices - not only just for specific clients.
Being able to print the list directly from the Overdue Invoices tab list would also be handy; if the report cannot be filtered.

When a customer replies to a statement sent from the system asking for copy invoices we do not know what company / statement they are replying to and we have to email back asking who they are. If the template had the customer card name / Card ID we could find this quickly and respond. We send over 300 statements per month.

It would be great if Essentials had a warning that popped up before a reconciled transaction could be changed.
Or even being able to just lock the bank account so that once a reconciliation changes can't be made (unless you opt to unlock).
Other versions do this and it owuld be great if Essentials could too.

Please revert enter employee and pay field to how it was on MYOB essentials prior to the update. Now when you choose to "enter pay" MYOB auto selects all employess so i have to unselect the ones i dont want then MYOB also auto fills payment figures for the employees which for my casual employees make zero sense! just like unselecting the employees i dont want to pay i now have to clear the auto entered pay fields MYOB suggests i pay my staff?! talk about making life harder!

We use the quantities for tracking the litres of fuel purchased per quarter for calculating the fuel tax credits in activity statements. Would be extremely useful if we could customise the "Account Transactions" report to include Quantities and the ability to exclude transactions that were entered without quantities.

In accountright even with no rule attached it allows you to mark the cheque number as EFT or auto markes as EFT, in essential it auto picks up a the last cheque number unless a rule is already set+, As cheques are not really used much now and can it be changed so it gives the user the option to put a reference in rather than auto using the last cheque number and same request for payroll.

For some reason the general ledger summary movement TAB has been set up to print the balance as positive or negative based on the "Type" of account rather than debit balances being positive and credit negative. We as accountants utilise this to post information to our MYOB AE Ledger and have to export to excel to adjust the number and make the total movement for the year come back to $0. This seems to me to be a riduculous treatment and I cannot fathom why the report would be built in this manner.

It has been great to see the addition of bulk payments to MYOB Essentials, however compared to competitor products this is still a much slower process for the following reasons:
* Each supplier must be selected and paid individually
* Then you need to move to a totally different area to create the ABA file to download to the bank.
I would like to see payables set out in a "Wizard/TAB" through process similar to that of competitor products and Payroll.
My vision is that this has a TAB for awaiting approval, approved/awaiting payment and paid. This solution should have multiple selection of both multiple invoices for one supplier and multiple suppliers. An ability to add notes to invoice and an audit trail of who and when the steps are undertaken.

Can you please add FREIGHT on Invoice under Sub Total as it is on AccountEdge for Mac. If freight can be added here it doesn't add to items sales. We have sales reps who are paid a % commission on sales. They are not paid commissions on freight. In account edge it's possible to run a Commissions report not including Freight.

Essentials currently has the ability to print an "Item Sales Report" showing Item number, Item Name, Quantity sold, $ Amount sold.
It can also run a report titled "Items List Report". On that report there is an unused column titled "Units on Hand".
Can you please add the ability to enter the quantity of items purchased when creating and editing "Items" and also have that populate to "Units on hand" in the report "Sales Item List"?

MYOB calculates the GST return in such a way that tax to pay is shown in brackets (credit symbol), and refunds are shown as debits. This is opposite to the way IRD displays. IRD calculates GST by taking box 10, and taking off box 14. If box 14 is smaller it means tax to pay and comes out without brackets. If box 14 is larger then it is a refund and displays with brackets to indicate a credit amount. Please make Essentials GST returns to be the same as IRD.

Can you please make a search funtion for the customer card ID when invoicing. We invoice to the one customer/busines's/Body Corporates that have multiple properties they own and this can only be distinguished with the card ID. This is an important function like all other myob versions as at the moment you waste countless hours scrolling though your customers card to find the correct property to invoice too!!!

Hi, I have created a Report Pack which contains a GST Report and GST detailed report. My client is on payments basis (and all settings in the file are correct for the basis). When I run the GST report it is fine. However, when I run it with the Report Pack it is Payments basis - I have been told this is the only option! Can you please fix this to follow the settings for the file? Most of our clients are on payments basis which means this feature is useless to us.

Would like a report to generate customer sales percentages through a specfied time period i.e current financial year or quarter etc.
Provide the ability to see what customer is the largest and list in order other customers from there. Would also include a total dollar amount received from customer along with a percentage of total sales that customer holds.
