Could you kindly advise if the following items are possible in LiveAccounts - or can be added to the development list?

 

- Can we have recurring transactions for sales, bills, spend money & receive money

As you can imagine, this is a big job and the team wants to ensure that they provide the best solution for you. This unfortunately means that this feature may not be available until sometime next year.

Recurring transactions is an absolute must for my restaurant business.   Keen to move over to MYOB Essentials, currently using AccountEdge but need to go online and there are a lot of basic functions missing it seems, during my time spent trialling the package.

MYOB Essentials Accounting was designed to be a simple accounting package, which has limited customisations. For more advanced features and customisations, it would be better to use AccountRight or AccountEdge.

I'm currently trialling essentials, but this is almost a show stopper.

I don't want to go with a more expensive package - this is basic functionality.

If I have to pay more to get something that should be included, I might as well go with Xero.

Thank you for your feedback in regards to the recurring transactions with Essentials. Currently this is not available within the file just yet.

 

Our developers prioritise changes and fixes based on a number of factors, such as the impact of the issue, the number of people affected, and the time it would take to resolve the issue.

 

We do suggest all users that would like to see this feature available please vote and leave comments

This would be a HUGE time saver and really make MYOB essentials so much mroe attractive fo start ups and sole operators

 

Would love to see this added functionality to essentials

I am shocked that recurring invoices does not exist in essentials
this is an essential part of business and exists in the old style myob premier version which I was using as well as xero which I just came from

do I have to go back to xero and cancel my MYOB subscription

Thank you for your idea in regards to MYOB Essentials. However a similar idea has already been suggested elsewhere on the MYOB Essentials Idea Exchange. I would recommend showing your support for recurring transactions in liveaccounts You can show your support by voting for the idea. To vote select the + VOTE button to the left of the idea. You can also comment if required

If you did want to look at doing recurring transactions in an MYOB program at this time, you would be looking at AccountRight

Can't believe it's not currently being worked on, surely the number of votes tells developers that users believe it is .....essential! Should be standard in a pared down system like Essentials.

+1000 interwebs for this recommendation

 

Its annoying to have to enter invoices from people like Google (set amount) and MYOB themselves every month when i know that the invoice will always be that amount. 

 

I support this suggestion 100%
