On of my clients loves the idea of getting the MYOB on the go app...how do i intergrate this with Account Right 2017. The Cleint will be creating and applying payments on the app, and the invoice will be emailed directly from the app.
Thanks for your question, and great to hear your client is interested in the OnTheGo app! It’s worth mentioning the app itself will allow only allow your client to create invoices and contacts, to receive payments your client will need the PayDirect card reader, new applications of which are unfortunately currently unavailable.
As your client is using AccountRight 2017 there are a couple of little steps that they will need to know to get up and running as quickly as possible.
Assuming your clients file is stored online, which will allow your client to link the app to their file, they will need to setup a new user for the app. To do this they will need to go to Setup >> User Access and Create a new user. When they create this new user they will need to untick the option of “This user will sign in with a my.MYOB account (Recommended)”. This will give the fields for Username and Password. These user credentials will be needed when they log into the app.
Now that there is a specific username for the app, they will be able to open the app. The first time the app is opened they will need to sign in with their my.MYOB email address and password. Once they have signed in they will be prompted to setup a 4-digit pin number that they can use to sign into the app in future without the need to sign in using their full email address and password.
Your client will then be prompted to choose their online company file, when they do so they will be prompted to sign in. This will require the username and password that we setup previously. Once they have signed in then they will be able to start using the app to create invoices.

Is it possible to customise the app such as creating sales orders rather han invoices and removing invoice amounts on the "Invoices" main screen.
MYOB Invoices will currently only allow for the creation of invoices for a company file.
