Adding portal user after documents have been forwarded to client for approval

A client has requested for another user to have access to the documents (financials and tax returns) sent out for approval.

 

I have now added that other user. Does that mean he can automatically see all the tasks related to that Client Portal or does he still need to be added to that particular task? And can I add them as a signee for the documents for a task that has already been assigned to just the initial user?

Thanks for your question!

 

If you add an additional user to a client portal, they will only have access to the documents/tasks that you specifically assign to them.

 

So, if you have created a client portal, and added documents and tasks for the client, but then add a now 'contributor', that contributor will only have access to the documents in that client's portal that you specifically grant them access to.
