Bloody Holiday Pay

Right soo.

I had a guy start working for me as cassual.

So when i paid him I put a 1 in the box to pay his holiday pay at the same time.

Now he has done 3 months with me I need to change him back..

Not only have I paid him holiday pay every week, but it says I owe him 49 hours annual leave accured..

How do i correct this please

Re: Holiday Pay Drama

Hi @MahonyTrucker

Are you using NZ Payroll?

If so, on the leave details screen have you set him up with normal hours per day, normal days per week? These should be 0 when you employ a casual employee. When you switch him from casual to full time, if would be better to start him off in a new employee code, and then put in the normal hours per day, normal days per week and a new start date, which will start accruing HolPay for him. Then you still have the record in the old employee code where he was employed as a casual from "date" to "date" and shows that you have paid out the HP each week.
