I am a very frustrated user. Since installing the above update I have been unable to send payslips via email. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times and renamed the Payroll folders and cut and pasted them on my desktop, -I have removed the MYOB PDF converter before uninstalling and nothing has fixed it. I even got a local IT company that is familiar with MYOB to uninstall it and reinstall it and the same error message is coming up. It was working fine before the upgrade. MYOB you need to get your upgrades working better before releasing them. It is a huge waste of my time to be uninstalling and reinstalling the program every time you release an upgrade.
The error message coming up is: OLE error code 0x80080005 Server Execution failed.
Then when you try to close it comes up with a box PRINT PAY SUMMARY -This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy Choose "Switch to" to activate the busy program and correct the problem. It then goes to the windows screen before returning to try and generate another payslip.
Also, since installing the update another inconsequential message comes up, but is annoying upon going into my company file: The confirmation code is invalid. Please contact MYOB Customer Service for Assistance or use another metohd for confirming your Payroll data file.
Is there a way to manual enter the tax rates (if necessary) and run Payroll under the old version. This is ridiculous and I need to be able to send our employees payslips before the next pay run. This is making our small company consider changing to another Payroll program.

I have sent you a link via Private Message to download the software again using the link I have sent you. Please install the program and re-install as it looks like that the software has not downloaded properly. Once you have downloaded the program, please open your company file to see if you get these

I got your automated message but in this forum there was no private message for me to download Payroll again. However my IT company that tried to solve this the other day told ( and reinstalled the update for me) said NOT to open outlook, (which is what I used to have to do prior to sending the Payslips via email). Once I did this the payslips opened Outlook and I was able to send them as usual.
I am not sure whether the validation code message is still coming up though.

Glad to hear that you've been able to resolve the issue.
With reference to the confirmation code, it appears your file had been locked at our end. I've since unlocked it, so you should be able to confirm your file online.
Do let us know how you go with this.
