I bought two PC's with Office 2010 and 64 bit. MYOB can't export to Excel from Office 2010. I use multi currency so my reports don't total so Excel is a must. Any solutions?

You should be able to get some reports to show a total. In some of the report customisation windows there is the finishing tab. For some reports you can select the option "Display in" option to be "Local Currency"
That should give you totals in some reports.

The usual reason for not seeing totals when using multi-currency is that you have to select one currency for the report, as it will not make sense to add several currency values together.

In regards to Office 2010, Office 2010 64bit does not currently work with AccountRight, Office 2010 32bit does work with AccountRight. Office 2010 32bit will need to be set up the same as Office 2003 or 2007.
This support note covers some of the office link connection alerts. If this does not resolve the linking with Office 2010 32bit, can you please post the alert/error you are receiving.

Thanks for that info Reece - I've been wondering why office 2010 works with some clients but not others.

Hi, new to the forum and MYOB
When exporting reports to excel I receive the message "unable to locate the files to support the OfficeLink function"
My config is
Win 7 64 bit
Office 2010 32bit
MYOB Accounting Ver 18
I have followed through google searches and references in this forum
To date I have
Uninstalled Office 2010
Renamed the old MYOB18 directory
Then re-installed office and associated updates
then re-installed MYOB
Then repeated the process when this still did not work
Looking in the MYOB18 directory I cabnnot not find the drcxl32.exe file so I cannot re-register in Win7. Does this indicate something is amiss.
Can anyone confirm that Accounting V18 can export to Excel 2010 32 bit
or provide any other help please
PS I have exported to html files and then imported these into excel but for the end user these is messy and not a viable solution
Appreciate your reply

Version 18 of MYOB won't be compatible with Office 2010 - because Version 18 is much older and Office 2010 didn't exist back then.
