I have a customer running MYOB Premier across Peer to Peer (TCPIP Networking Mode in MYOB) with 2 Users.
If they run a single user logged in, everything is super quick (100MB data File), but if they log the second user in, reports take 6+ minutes to run.
Is there a way around this problem that doesn't involve spending thousands?

Do all the users have full users rights - as a user and to the MYOB data location
Make sure the virus scan is not scanning data going across the network
Have they run an optimise on their data lately
Check is one user is the same on all machines - is it the second user profile?
I'm not totally IT savy - but these are the questions I ask of the IT guys when my clients have this issue
Whats the operating system?

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have checked those things, but in reality, they would be a problem with 1 user or 10, but it's only with multiple users.

Are both machines relatively fast?
Are they both on same operating system?

Yes, we replaced the "host" machine today, with a brand new PC both are running Windows 7.
I believe this is a known issue with MYOB, I wasn't sure if it was fixed in later versions or if there is a workaround for it.

Google this command and see if you think this would work. Seems to refer to Vista however
I had the same issue with a foundation server - and IT guys said this fixed it.
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=highlyrestricted
