Unable to connect MYOB AccountRight online file

Hi,

 

Im new to an organisation that has given me acces to AccountRight with dual authorisation required.

ive dowloaded the authenticator app., then type in the code it provides, then asks me to login again.  Instead of making the file available or opening, it directs me back to re-authenticating with my mobile device.  Step 3 of 3 on repeat.  I appreciate your prompt assistance!!

Hi @Rebecca_P_DS,

 

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a valuable resource.

 

I'm wondering, did you set up the two-factor authentication yourself, or were you given an email address/password that's already two-factor authentication enabled to access the online file? 

 

If the email address you are using to log in already has two-factor authentication set up, then it is paired with the original authenticator app that it was set up with, the code generated on your phone would not work. If you did set up the two-factor authentication using your phone, then you can always try using the backup code to log in.

Thankyou.

I did set up the 2 way authentication on my previous phone myself.

How can i locate the backup codes please?? (i cant remember where i saved them and/or I cant seem to access the service centre without the code??)
