RM 12.5 windows 10 activeX error

G day all

 

I have a client with RM12.5 running on Windows 10.  It has been working up until last week.  Now everything else seems find except printing and emailing.  When you go to print it comes up with an ActiveX error.  

 

I remember doing something awhile ago with ActiveX but can't remember and can't find my notes.

 

Can anyone help?

 

I have done a modify repair, checked the activeX in IE and disabled the firewall.

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of helpful information.

 

I’m sorry to see that no one has responded to you before now.

 

I would start by changing the printer to a different printer, such as the Microsoft XPS Document Writer and then trying to print through that. As this will use the same printing functionality within RetailManager, this will help narrow down where the error is occurring. If you are seeing the error with one printer but not the other it would suggest that the issue lies with the printer itself.

 

Additionally are you able to clarify the exact wording of the error that you are receiving?
