Is there a way to give each item in my inventory a bin location for order picking purposes? I would also need to have the invoice sorted via this bin location.
AccountRight Enterprise v19 is the only AccountRight product that has a multiple inventory location feature. When multiple locations are used inside a file, the invoices do not sort the items based off the inventory location, but rather in the order they are entered in on the invoice.
If you weren’t using AccountRight Enterprise then you could use custom fields or custom lists to record the inventory location, however this is a single location for the item. Assuming the item was in multiple locations this wouldn’t be a viable option. In addition, regardless of the information contained within the custom fields/lists, the items entered into the invoice will be listed in the order they are entered into the invoice.
You could look at using an add-on from our MYOB Add-on centre, to expand your inventory management and bin locations.
