We have two machines running MYOB Accounting Plus. It is an older version - I don't have access to the machines at the moment, but I think it is version 12.

One machine prints fine, the other machine is missing the item number when it prints. Both machines are using the same printer with the same driver and settings. I tried printing on the problem machine to a PDF file, and it is also missing the item number. Any ideas?

I noticed a similar message which suggested editing the form, but we unfortunately do not have anyone familiar with the software to that extent, and would need fairly detailed instructions.

A picture of the form with the missing data is attached.

The default purchase order form uses the "supplier item number", not "your" item number, which makes sense except that many people don't complete the supplier item number field. 

All the customised forms are stored in the 'forms' sub-folder of your program's folder. (the default forms are stored elsewhere, possibly in the program executable itself).

The quickest solution would be to copy all the forms from the 'good' computer to the same folder in the 'faulty' computer, since it is quite likely that the purchase form in the 'good' computer has been modified to print your item number. 

I would make a copy of the files in the 'faulty' forms folder first, just in case something you need is lost.

Thank you for the reply.  Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem.

I did another test print, and the item number will sometimes print, but not correctly. 

For example, on the screen, you will see the following item numbers:

ITEM NO.

>CAR 660315TPB-T

>CAR 660746-T4B

>CAR 661051-S2B-T

(Note:  the ">" indicates the clickable details arrow.)

But on the printout (done to both a printer and to a PDF file using PDF complete):

ITEM NO.

660315TPB

<blank line>

660316-S2B

As you can see, partial item numbers are (sometimes) printed.

Maybe your item numbers are too long for the field if some print and some don't.  Go to customise your form and make it a bit wider and see what happens (go to Advanced Filters and then Customise).
